(I didn't mean that I pray too much, I meant I get unfocused too much, but I wrote that with some ambiguity :-), sorry.)

Wow, that is really good. I love what you said about "God is not out to have a perfect world". I know I get unfocused when I pray too much- thanks for the reminder and direction!

What do you think about sending kids off on ministry trips like with a youth group, by themselves? I have so many good memories of missionary activities with my whole family-it was a family affair. It's great when families can grow together with that same good seed having been planted in all of them.

Mrs. Woodworth,
It is great to see that you got this on the web! I remember you talking about the idea for it.

These prayer pointers are so true, thank you for helping us learn them. Last weekend I got the opportunity to pray at my old church for the mission's pastors who were leaving for Ghana in a couple of days. Several other people prayed first, but I got to end it. It was amazing to feel and see the atmosphere change. The wife grabbed me as soon as I was done and was crying telling me how correctly targeted my prayer was to what was going on there even though they hadn't told me the specifics beforehand.
I know it was God, but thank you so very much because I specifically tried doing everything you discussed in class (and this blog)!
Love,Kari

I agree that anyone who has a "heart for the nations" should make an effort to educate themselves as well. I know from my own experience that we can think of "the nations" often but we don't get beyond that to praying and learning. We don't want to be missionaries without knowledge or Holy Spirit experience!
